Observations

We went up the north east ridge where wind was depositing new wind slabs. Spots where the old snow surface were firm pen hard wind slab we’re developing shooting cracks despite the very low cohesion snow, and a few spots had signs of old finger hard wind slab on top of facets. The snow surface seemed to be quite cold when the new precip began. Distribution of old wind slab was low to nil but sensitivity seemed to remain high where it was present.
