Observations

- On our tour on Panorama Dome, we observed periods of intense blowing snow loading NE aspects near tree line. We also observed intermittent snowfall rates of S1-S5 throughout the day. We recorded an air temp of -6 degrees C at ~ 1300 at 8500'.

- At the top of Panorama Dome, we found stubborn wind slabs 1-1.5ft thick on N/NE aspects. On kick tests, we observed small shooting cracks up to 1ft.

- Snowpit site location: East Aspect, 8500'.
- Snowpit test results: CTM (SC) down 35 cm, x2. CTH (SC) down 35 cm. // ECTNP x 2.

- Snowpit site location: North Aspect, 8500'
- Snowpit test results: CTM (SC) down 35 cm. ECTNP.
