Observations

Toured up Mt. Downs from Oh Ridge.
Found near surface facets mixed in with some laid down surface hoar down low.
Felt whumping starting around 8200' in the sage brush areas and then up higher in the forested bench areas.
At the summit winds were calm and sky was mostly covered with thin clouds.
Air temp read 7°C and a surface temp of -3°C.
HS was from 95cm to 125cm.
Found some FCsf over a stiffer mid-pack sitting on top of 32cm of 2mm FCso.

Definitely warmed up and made the snow a bit sticky for the ride down. Got some rollerballs going along our descent.
Overall a good Christmas Tour ending at the JLB.
