Observations

After a bluebird morning, clouds started rolling in again. It started to snow around noon. The winds also started picking up from the WSW. Coverage is good even down to the bottom of the canyon.
I did not see any rain in the old snow at this elevation.
Since yesterday the snow NTL in open areas has become more affected by the wind. There is a 10 cm 4 F- wind layer in a lot of places. But I did not see any shooting cracks and no other signs of instability in the terrain we skied.
