Key Points

Went out to look for the persistent slab problem from today’s forecast (3/19 PWL). Looking to gather info ATL above 11,000′ on ENE.

  • Cornices are well developed and overhang N and NE cliffs and steep ridgelines in some areas.
  • In the locations I dug (See attached images, 11400′ ENE and 10400′ E) I did not find concerning structure. No peristent grains werer observed above the 3/19 crust.
  • No signs of instability
  • Despite cold temps. crusts are developing on solar slopes BTL
