Surface snow primarily comprised of .5-1mm near surface faceted grains on shaded polar slopes, 1-2cm MFcr on E, SE steeper solars.
We dug a test pit at 8800′ on a wind loaded NE aspect on the shoulder of Panorama Dome hoping to find an reactive wind slab. Dug to 75cm, finding only P to K hard .5-1mm rounds. CTN and ECTX results.
