Touring in the Lakes Basin we had deep travel conditions when breaking our own trail and were lucky enough to coat tail off of some skiers for a skin track to get to ski terrain. Signs of unstable snow were easier to find on test slopes that were impacted by wind, but we did not have any cracking, collapsing or other signs of instability in ski terrain up to 32 degrees.
The weather was cooler than yesterday, but also calmer with in and out cloud cover. See photos for weather and surface snow conditions.
