Recent report of a skier triggered avalanche in the blue crags area in the Mammoth Lakes basin. 

Reports suggest this was a wind slab with a crown depth of 8″, a width of 30-40 feet, a run length of ~1,000~ feet, and a destructive Size D1. This avalanche was intentionally triggered and no one was carried, buried, or injured in this event.
