More detailed information about the snowpack:

Windy day today!  As viewed form the roads ... toured behind June today, but that will be a different post.  Snow blowing across the highway all the way up to the high peaks.  These 2 photos show the wind transport over the Sherwins ridge due to strong SW winds, likely forming considereable new windslabs on the northerly facing slope, just below the ridgeline, and possibly elsewhere down slope where winds may have been cross-loading.  Very likely these would be sensitive to skier / boarder triggering!  Also visible snow transport on the northern parts of San Juaquin Ridge and White Wing.
