More detailed information about the snowpack:

Left car at 0800 eureka with still a 1/4-1/2 mile skin to OV TH. Cloud cover kept snow very firm with ski crampons required to travel over initial slope. Remaining travel mellow skinning. Once we arrived at the base we saw that the east face conditions weren’t ideal and decided to ski a north facing line that looked filled in. We discussed the aspect and although a short line, there was a clear terrain trap below. We dug a hasty pit at about 12400 which revealed about a foot of packed powder on a very firm surface. We enjoyed our ski back to the car until it started raining.
