More detailed information about the snowpack:

Went up to 11k on the SE Gully of Dunderberg before turning around due to high temps and wet snow. Mostly clear skies, calm winds, and very warm. We generally kept to the rocks on the climb up but in several places we postholed through wet snow to the ground. It was semi-supportable to skis descending around noon. Would have been better off skiing it several hours earlier. We encountered thin coverage and lots of rocks. Generally it was not steep enough to get any wet loose going except on one steeper, shallower bank of the gully where it was possible to get some snow moving. It would likely be hard to find the right southerly slope with both enough coverage and steepness to get a slide going, but if you did it could definitely be large enough to cause you problems.
