Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack:

I was waiting for my buddy to catch up and dig a pit on the slope we were planning to ski. I dug to the ground (about 3-4ft) the snowpack was pretty perfectly consistent and consolidated except for the weak layer and wind slab right on top. The wind slab was between 1-2 inches thick (checked it out multiple times throughout the day). Skiing was veritable and pretty horrible. We needed ski crampons and ended up having to boot pack to get up to the summit. Super fun day! Don’t go there for the skiing.
