Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack:

The conditions in Lundy Canyon were highly variable with little predicability to what you might find on a given aspect. Was able to find firm but at least predictable wind blown snow on steeper N-NE aspects which made for some enjoyable but still cautious skiing. On lower angle slopes and lower elevations the snow was generally a thin breakable wind crust. Facets of varying stages were found throughout the snowpack. Winds were still strong up high, but no visible snow transport.
