Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack:

Toured today to Lake George Ridge, and the Twin Lakes Trees to seek out some soft skiing, avoid getting blown away in the upper elevations and take a look at more areas that had old snow before the recent storm to assess the persistent slab problem.

Ski quality was diminished slightly from yesterday with more crusts on solar aspects and more tree bombs making it harder to find continuous panels of soft snow. Still F hard surface snow but skiing heavier.

Dug into the top of the steep trees running down to Twin Lakes where HS was 185, finding the basal facets here down 120cm. Even at this depth CT and ECT tests failed suddenly and with full propagation.
