Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack:

Skinned up the road for a couple hours this afternoon.  Skiable snow started 2/3 of the way to the Warren Fork.  Well developed (.5 - 1 cm) surface hoar for about 200 yards on either side of the creek at the Warren Fork.  Debris piles on the road under many of the south facing chutes.  They looked to be mid-storm slides as they were obscured by some snow on top.  Snow conditions varied from supportable to breakable crust to heavy powder.  South facing slopes were mostly dry, north facing slopes had thin coverage.
