Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack:

On 1/31/19 I toured up Horse Creek to the north facing couloirs of Twin Peaks. Once over the col/ridge that separates Horse Cr. drainage from Cow Creek, I noticed surface hoar on all of the aprons of the Twin Peaks couloirs from top to bottom. Up in the chute I climbed it wasn't evident. It was also NOT evident on the north facing apron of a Horse Creek Peak couloir I skinned up into. Seemed like a localized event but could be of concern with the new snow load coming. Sorry I didn't take a better picture but you can clear see it.
