Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack:

Toured up into Lakes Basin via TJ Lake to Crest. Reports from several days ago holding true about low tide conditions down low, with talus fields only barely covered in snow for exiting out drainages.

A cold, clear night produced widespread surface hoar, some of which was destroyed by the warm day but much on sheltered slopes remained intact at the end of our day. Several centimeters of Near Surface Facets were also noted on upper slopes of TJ Bowl, and provided nice skiing where coverage was sufficient.
