Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack:

Toured up to the trees SE of TJ Lake.  Surface snow was supportable wind slab in places, packed powder in others.  Dug pit at 9950', wind-loaded NW aspect at 1330.

hs=175. CTH21SP, CTH23SP, CTH28SP within new snow.  ECTN25 within the new snow with propagation across 3/4 of the column.  We did not observe failures on old-new snow interface despite pounding hard on our test columns.  Facets near the bottom of the snowpack were <=1mm in size, 1-finger hard, and unreactive.
