Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack:

Toured to Mini Morrison today, finding more storm snow than expected, with little wind affect in the elevations and aspects observed.

Numerous Size 1 Loose Dry slides were seen, many of which stepped down and released storm slab mid storm. No avalanche activity was seen during the course of the day. No wet instabilities were observed aside from the odd rollerball.

Compression tests identified the layer of concern, the same windslab/facet interface that has been noted in previous observations, down 70cm, with SC results. Large column tests, both ECT and PST did not show potential for propagation, and the FCs below 70cm have shown noticable rounding since observing this area 8 days ago. (note Snowpit graph shows PST done on layer 30cm down, should read 70cm down, on layer of concern.)
