Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack:

Moderate east and northeast winds at and above treeline were still transporting snow this morning near the base of Mammoth Crest. There was ample evidence of wind affected snow including sastrugi ATL. Wind deposits were strong slabs/bomber windboard. I stomped on a few small deposits on little rollovers and there was no sign of instability. BTL a variety of snow surfaces were found including MF crust, wind crust, and soft facets. No moistening of snow was observed.  Out to TH at 1130.
