Report from Mammoth Mtn ski patroller who saw 2 people ski out of a freshly triggered avalanche skiers right of Jaws, see attached photo.  He saw this from the ridgeline on Mammoth Mtn.  Many unknow details, estimated to be D2 in size, ~100' wide, and running several hundred feet downslope.  Presumably a wind slab, unknown if cornice failure had anything to do with it.  Unknown if anyone was caught, but from the what could be seen from Mammoth Mtn, appears that no burials occured and skiers skied away.  If anyone has further details, please let us know either thru an obs submission on this website or email: forecasters@esavalanche.org.
