More detailed information about the snowpack:

Walked up to continuous snowline from aspendell, started skinning at 9k. Skinned up to 11k in the glades to just below tree line. Found a test slope: east facing 27 degrees and dug a pit. A few cm of new snow on top of 70cm of consolidated slab. 5cm crust, then a large facet layer. ECTP8 with a high energy failure on the facet layer below the crust. Experienced whumphing while transitioning and noticed small flagged trees in the gully below the bowl proper. Skied nice low angle powder turns in the glades back to snow line.
