Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack:

Did some ski cuts along the NW ridge near the top of June Mtn. ( above Cathedral/ Sunset area) I got several newly formed windslabs ( F hardness) to propagate and break at a snowdepth varying between 5 cm up to 10 cm. Aspect of the windslabs was NE. Observed snow being transported and deposited right over the breakover. Winds from the SW ranged from low to moderate with occasional higher gusts.  Up to 30 cm of new snow in the Leeward area.

Hand shear test in same location: Windslab ( F hardness) broke at 5 cm, easy force, on 20 cm of new snow ( F hardness).
