More detailed information about the snowpack:

Toured up to Redcone Bowl, and back, from Tamarack

It wasn't wack

Wasn't quite gettin' shacked

Just enough new snow to talk a lil smack

3-4 inches at most to be exact.

Winds quite calm to the greatest height

Thank goodness 'cause it was 2 degrees farenheit

At 5 oclock at night

At an elevation of ten thousand four hundred and eight.

No stability concerns in sight

No shooting cracks, or anything else to give a sense of fright

Regardless of aspect and exposure to light.

Perhaps up higher in those chutes and couloirs

One might find a lonely wind deposit

Waiting to be triggered by a snowboarder

Dropping in on auto-pilot.

Down low from Lake George to the Pack Station,

Barely an inch and a half of new snow

Often ontop of bare ground and a little vegetation.

Cloudy skies all afternoon,

With a couple pretty rays of sun shining through

Some periods of snow falling quite light,

Except closer to dark, it picked up with just a little might.

Overall impression:

Not enough new snow and wind

In the right combination,

To pose threat of avalanche

Atleast anywhere along route to this desitination.
