Comments: 1-5 cm decomposing new snow. Light wind texture. 5-15cm loose facets underneath where sheltered. Upper snowpack continues to facet with some wind slab beginning to breakdown and decompose. 

Toured up to Red Lake Trees out of Virginia Lakes to assess the new snow, bonding, and wind slab distribution. 1 to 5 cm new over facets or Wind Slab. Wind Slabs are begining to decompose. Stability tests show moderate to hard failures of Wind Slabs over facets. Surface snow a mix of sastrugi, wind board, which varied between 5-10cm thick, and dense decomposing new snow. Snow in the trees was quite good.
