A quick road survey of the area to look for recent avalanche activity. All avalanche activity noted appears to have occurred in the past 24 hours. Noted multiple slab avalanches on the lower half of the east face of Laurel Mountain. Also noted possible Wind Slab failure at the mouth of Laurel Canyon (climbers left). Failed under a cornice with obvious crossloading. Approximate dimensions - 150'x500'x2'. Also noted similar avalanche on the east face of No Name (Olympic) climbers right Laurel Canyon with similar dimensions but ran further down the track.

Road Conditions:

Convict Lake Road open to the lake.

June Lakes Road still using the north lake access. 

Chicken Wing Parking Lot - clearing the lot as I drove by.

Earthquake Dome Rd to 395 not yet plowed.
