Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack:

-Heavy dense snow up to 10,000'.  Somewhat upside-down, with 20cm thick Fist+ layer ontop of Fist layer.  About 70cm of new snow by 2pm at 9,000'.  See attached pit profile, and video of ECT results.

-Handshears failing easily at subtle density changes within new snow.

-Some shooting cracks greater than 1m, only observed in steeper areas above 9,500'.

-Impression: Heavy dense storm slabs, more stubborn to initiate, but likely much more dangerous than last weeks very light low density ultra-sensitive storm slabs/sloughs.  Areas with wind-deposited snow likely even more upside-down, and more concerning.
