More detailed information about the snowpack:

I spent the day touring in the old growth area of Punta Bardini.  No wumphing, or cracking was noted on my tour today.  I did notice a hand full of crown lines in the area of the Bardini chutes that appeared to have run during the storm.  These isolated to steep convex rollover features and none seemed to be larger than size D1.  I conducted several hand sheers and a quick pit to check for storm instabilities and overall things were really right side up and the new snow appears to be bonding well to the old below treeline.  On top of the ridge, I noticed fresh wind slab development on the SE aspect. These were small 3-6” pockets in the morning but I noticed the winds increased in the afternoon visibly moving much more snow.  While I did not notice any slab development at lower elevations, I did notice surface clues indicating that the winds were moving snow around even in sheltered areas at suggesting that there may be isolated areas where wind slabs have developed at all elevations. Overall stability seems to be improving relatively quickly and the skiing was superb.
