Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Dug a quick pit about a meter deep beneath the chutes. CTH 23 RP Q2 @ 16cm down. There was a slight but noticeable increase in snow hardness at the layer (4F to 3F). ECTX results.

The snow in the chute was variable but good. It was a little wind slabby, but there was quite a bit of powder as well. No signs of instability were observed in the form of recent avalanches, blowing snow, cracking or wumphing. There was a bit of sluff but very manageable.
