More detailed information about the avalanche:

Crown and natural slide was observed at first light of day while crossing Lake Mary and ascending to Mammoth Crest.  Photo was taken after descending in trees to the East of TJ Bowl, TJ Bowl was not skiied and there was no evidence of human activity observed while skinning out and across TJ Lake.  Snow is deep up high, esspecially in trees, almost too deep for effective travel.
