More detailed information about the snowpack:

Returned to a BTL area that had widespread collapsing after the Dec. 17 storm, and had 1 isolated collapse as I approached an open slope from a well anchored ridge.

HS had settled noticeably here, though the structure is still quite poor. Extended Column Test results (ECTP18 @ 15cm from ground), and Propagation Saw Test (PST 23/100 End) both showed potential for propagation.

Crossing Lake Mary was a bit spooky, as there is a section out in the middle where water is pooled up on top of the ice. Road travel recommended.

Another point to note is that there are many pits out there that have been dug in open terrain, and are not filled in. If you must dig in areas that will see ski traffic, fill the holes in - it's just one more hazard to deal with.
