Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack:

Skinned up toward TJ lake today. Clear skies and above freezing temps made for pleasant travel. Light winds from the west. We found 1-3 cm of new snow. We never got above tree line but from everything we saw today, there were no signs of instability to be seen anywhere. The new snow made for some serious glopping on our skins because the sun warmed the snow enough to create a layer of sticky 'hot pow'.

We skied fun recycled pow ( aka knee deep facets)  in the NE facing Lake Mary trees. Boot pen up to 60 cm. Ski pen 10 - 15 cm.
