Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Approx 1 foot of settled snow at 5800 feet. Skied into inyo creek drainage of Lone Pine Peak. Observed rapid wind loading over the upper elevations and old avalanche activity in the gully. 2-3" of ski pen most of the day with the softer snow being at the lower elevations. Wind slab was present above 11,500 feet but we did not see any signs of it being sensitive.
