More detailed information about the avalanche: 

Saw crown of recent natural avalanche below and next to rock band next to Jaws about 10am.  Appeared very fresh, probably within the past 2 hours.  Slope was visibly getting loaded by SW winds blowing snow over ridge.  R2-D1.5.  Crown appeared to be 2ft or so tall, and zig-zaged for perhaps 100ft.
