Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack:

We didn't dig in the snow today.  Probed snow depth at our high point was 97 cm.  Boot Penetration was 20cm and Ski Penetration was 10cm.  Surface facets were starting to change with either wind or radiation and temperature on all but the most northerly aspects.  These impacts have left an awkward skin on the snow surface.  See ski track photo.

Mild Temperatures today and light winds for the most part.  One surprise was broken skies bordering on overcast when I took my field weather observation. See Sky Cover Photo.  The rest of the day there were few clouds.  Maybe some gustier conditions up high, but no real visible transport of snow.
