While stomping on cornices on the small rollover along the top of Chicken Wing I go no results on the part of the ridge I was kicking. However, 20' down and skier's R a soft wind slab avalanche released and ran about 50'. The slab was 4F hard wind deposited rounds, the weak layer was F hard storm snow, and the bed surface was 4F hard storm snow. Slope angle in the start zone was 40 degrees. The crown averaged 30cm thick but tappered to a few cm's at both ends. Several other very small results along the summit ridge.
