AM - Partly cloudy (thin cirrus), clouds increased through the day, becoming mostly cloudy by late afternoon. Cloud cover came in a bit sooner and thicker than anticipated, reducing overall afternoon heating.

Traveled south of Mammoth to look for wet slide activity. Noted 3 D1 to 1.5's on Mt. Aggie's South Face and on surrounding ridges. Elevations ~ 10000 and below. These released from steep rocky terrain then spilled out onto the apron below. Spoke to a couple of backcountry skiers at Convict Lake Trailhead, they had skied Old Man's Bowl. They too had noted several (5+) small Loose Wet slides, again origionating in south facing rocky terrain, ~ 9500 and below.
