I poted two separate recent avalanches on Sherwin ridge from Old Mammoth road this morning. Both are near ridgeline on NE aspects, on slope angles around 35°. From my vantage I was unable to confirm slab depth, bed surface, details on destructive size, or trigger type, but given the terrain features where they occurred and the recent Strong SW winds I would venture a guess that they are wind slabs.
