A small tour up Red lake Bowl this morning. Below freezing temps and mod - strong winds. The 6 cm of new, cold snow are a fun refresh if you can read the snow surface well enough to follow the accumulations of new snow on top of the old MF crust. Deepest accumulation I was able to find was a soft new cornice of 15 cm. N aspect, 9890 ft. convex rollover. Some very localized propagation in 4-6 cm deep newly deposited snow. Saw some pockets of 3 mm graupel.
