Key Points

No signs of instability were observed on my tour today.

Only a Trace of new snow was measured from the storm last night even at the upper reaches of Sherwin ridge.

Exposed areas near treeline were either stripped or being actively stripped by strong NE winds throughout our tour. we also observed some minor wind transport in exposed areas near and below treeline however no concerning or sizable deposition was observed.

Reactive WS seems isolated to very small pockets and thin dinner plates that present more of a fall Hazard than a stability concern.

predictable and soft turns were experienced in sheltered areas on the NE aspect down to about 9000′. below here we noted more crusts below the surface ranging from grabby zipper crusts to full supportable areas of old snow.
