Observations

Toured from the propane tanks today to ski sheltered north facing slopes below treeline.
One localized whumph at 8800' in an area of variable snowpack depth. Probing revealed HS ranging from 30 to 220cm, variable enough to make it easy to hunt for sharks.
Dug in at 9350' NNE aspect. Large well developed (3-44mm) facets comprised the bottom 20cm of the snowpack in this location. ECTP results. Snow profile attached.
Some isolated wind affect, but did not travel in areas that would be more characteristically lee or crossloaded. A recent natural windslab was observed in the cirque behind the Perch (D1).
