On Sunday we toured into the June Backcountry ahead of the peak snowfall to try and find soft snow.  We were able to monitor conditions along our route including new snowfall and loading by wind at mid and upper elevations.  Lower down on the exit to the road we found heavy wet snow that produced roller balls.
