ESAC Observer Program Training and Thank You Night

Who: Frequent backcountry travelers (skiers, snowboarders, snowmobilers) with a minimum Avy 1 level training or equivalent education/experience who are willing to submit their observations regularly to the ESAC website. 

Please RSVP thru clicking this link! *Limit to 25 participants.  

-How to recognize, record, and submit snowpack, weather and avalanche information that you observe while in the backcountry.
-Be a part of the Eastern Sierra backcountry community and help other make better decisions while recreating in the mountains.
-Your valuable submissions helps ESAC improve the Snowpack Summaries by providing more detailed avalanche safety information to the public.
-Expand the information available to the backcountry community.

Pizza and beer provided as a thank you to all of those who submitted observations last year, and a thank you in advance for submitting this year!

This will take place at The Fort at 6:30pm on Thursday January 4.  The Fort is a co-working office space between the Black Doubt Brewery and Alpine Sports Outfitter.  452 Old Mammoth Rd (Sierra Center Mall, across from Vons).
